School & Group Events at Howell Pointe

Not a hall. A club, for the afternoon.

The end of the school year is one of our busiest runs, and it works because a group buyout here is a block of hours rather than a whole day. You get the pools, the lawn and the courts with lifeguards on duty, the clubhouse for food and shade, and one gate in and out — which is the part that matters when you are counting heads. Up to 500.

  • One gate, one perimeter. A private, fenced club with a single way in and our staff on site. Head counts are a formality instead of an ordeal.
  • Hours, not a whole day. You book the window you actually need. That keeps it affordable for a school or a camp and keeps the day moving.
  • Food for the whole group. Our kitchen feeds the group on site — no bagged lunches melting on a bus, no second stop on the way home.

What a private school or group event includes

  • The property for your agreed block of hours
  • Three pools with lifeguards on duty
  • Open lawn and sport courts
  • The clubhouse for food and shade
  • Catering scaled to your group
  • On-site parking and bus access

The clubhouse seats up to 100 and books year-round, day or evening. From May to September the members are done at 7pm — after that the pools, the lawn and the clubhouse are yours alone, for up to 500.

Questions

School or Group Event questions, answered.

Up to 500 with the grounds open. Tell us the number and the age range and we will confirm staffing and lifeguard coverage in writing before you commit.

Early. June is the single busiest stretch of our year for group events, and the good weekday slots go months ahead. If your calendar is set, ask now.

Yes — weekdays are the easiest dates on our calendar and usually the best value, and a daytime block works differently from a private evening buyout. Send the date and the window you need.

Yes. Tell us your billing contact and any PO requirements when you inquire and we will work to them.

No. Private events at Howell Pointe are open to members and non-members alike.

Two answers, because there are two spaces. The clubhouse seats 100 at tables — that covers most showers, birthdays, communions and dinners, and it books day or evening all year. With the grounds open we go to 500, which is how schools, camps and big evening parties use the property.

Private use of your space for your window, seating, your menu cooked by our on-site chef, and setup and breakdown by our staff. What "your space" means depends on which of the four ways you book — the clubhouse, the whole club after 7pm, a roped-off poolside area in the daytime, or a group buyout for a block of hours. Everything is confirmed in writing in your quote.

Yes, and the clubhouse is the reason. It runs all year, day or evening, seating up to 100 with its own bar — so a February shower or a December company dinner is a normal booking, not an exception. What changes in winter is the pools, which close; the grounds are still there, and we can add heated tented space on the deck if you want the outdoors as well.
